.NET Web Developers – MVC, SQL Server

The institute has a need for two .NET Developers to join a small team to work closely with the business to deliver advanced IT solutions. You will play a key role in highly critical projects for the institute and be involved in the analysis, design, development and enhancement on a number of in-house systems and applications. Our team works closely with scientists at the institute to deliver applications that support the research they are conducting.

Required Skills and Experience

  • An IT Degree (or relevant demonstrable experience) and at least 2 years web development experience
  • Proven programming ability in C# and the .NET framework
  • Substantial knowledge and experience implementing web solutions with ASP.NET MVC
  • Proficiency with SQL database design and development
  • Experience working with html, css and javascript

Desirable Skills

In addition to the required skills some experience in the following would be beneficial:

  • Entity Framework
  • Building web interfaces with the Bootstrap framework
  • Automated deployment using Octopus Deploy
  • Team Foundation Server for source control and as a build server
  • ASP.NET Core

Salary range is $82,337 - $89,577 per annum plus super and salary packaging. This is a full-time 6 month contract with the possibility of an extension at the end of the contract.
