About the team:

The Stores team plays a vital operational role in receiving, storing and dispatching goods. It is a part of the support division which is responsible for providing support to scientists to enable them to conduct research and development in medical research.

Role Purposes / Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced warehousing professional to join the team. Reporting to the Store Supervisor, the primary function is to receiving deliveries and record in database accurately, issue inventory stock, prepare documents and packaging for shipping of a variety of hazardous goods. This position requires the ability to work in a small team environment and to respond to customer needs quickly and accurately.

About You:

Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in warehousing, inventory and freight service environment coupled with strong verbal communication skills. Good computer skills with a proficiency in inventory systems are essential and you will be able to recognise hazardous/dangerous goods labelling and able to pack and handle biologicals appropriately. In addition, you will understand safety in receiving areas and be able to work in a small team or autonomously. Excellent customer service skills are vital to this role.

Salary range is $50,956-$54,499 p.a. plus super and salary packaging. This is a full-time permanent appointment.
